'Baby Hope' case: Cousin confesses to sexually assaulting, killing toddler Anjelica Castillo more than two decades ago - NY Daily News

I can hardly believe nobody has posted yet about this breakthrough in an ice-cold murder case.

I don't recall the case;I'm surprised there's been nothing reported in Nancy Grace news feed.

You have to wonder how many other children he abused and discarded.

I remember reading about that. I'm glad they finally found her killer. This is the first I've heard about it, I'm surprised also that there hasn't been more coverage.

When you read things like this you just know there are so many other kids that are sexually assaulted everyday. They are just not killed as a result of it. This poor girl had nobody. She was all alone. How many other kids are out there like this we don't know about being raped and abused everyday

I don't understand how the mother never reported a missing/dead child.

Why did nobody question where this child was? The mother or father not once in the past 20 years asked about this child? BS

She was missed, all right, but mom didn't know how to report due to the language barrier. If dad did snatch the little girl, as mom suspected, he would be the last one to report her missing if she got re-snatched.
