Have been watching this carefully - the staties are keeping pretty quiet about all of their investigation - last I heard they have impounded/examined a red truck and are not saying anything either, other than just looking for clues. Personally I don't think she is a runaway...anyone else have any thoughts?

I've kept close tabs on this. Wondering by what they mean they don't think she was abducted or ran away? Curious to say the least.

The stepfather is definitely a person I'd be concerned about. He has a history of violence which he escaped prosecution due to mental illness. Stepfather Wendell Noyes also has a downright creepy Facebook page, seems that most of his friends are buxom women, possibly porn stars. For someone supposedly married, his FB page is very sexually oriented. The stepfather also made a statement on behalf of the family that "We are grieving." Perhaps only a very poor choice of words, but one that indicates knowlege of some information.

Additionally, there are members in the stepfather's family who live across the river in Vermont that are convicted sex offenders that are deemed "non compliant".

I wonder when Celina was actually truly last seen by someone outside her family. I read that she normally slept in the basement with an older sister, but that night the sister wasn't at home, and Celina was upstairs in her own room on the computer. Additonally, even on young Celina's Facebook page, there are some troubling sex oriented applications that began only a few days prior to her disaapearance.

Now I must rant a moment about her mother. Why on earth do some women with children feel that they need a "man" so badly in their lives to get hooked up with someone with quite so many red flags? I say, you're better off by yourself than to bring a monster into the lives of your children..why, why, why I ask.

I realize that some of this is pure speculation on my part, but these are people I'd be looking at.

BREAKING NEWS: There was supposed to be a news conference at 5:30 on this which as yet to start. wmur.com will have the news conference on streaming video if interested.

Speaking as someone who worked for years in rape-crisis and battered-women's shelters for years, the chances are good that this guy was much, much better than the last one. It's a long, low learning curve for too many people.

Sad news: It's been reported that a female body has been discovered near a dam less than a 1/2 mile from Celina Cass' house.

Of interest: Earlier today, as the divers moved the search from the lower pond to the upper pond, the stepfather became restless. First, he went for a walk which was not his usual pattern. Upon return, he rolled around on his driveway. He was then taken to the hospital for a "medical emergency".

The body has been identified as that of Celina Cass according to New Hampshire Senior Assistant Attorney General Jane Young.

Watch the news for the report.

This is horrible, it is tragic. Whatever I write will, hopefully, not be misunderstood at all...I certainly hope this is not going to be another situation like the Brooke Bennett case...not that the tragedy is any more or less to a parent....it is a horrible loss.

Oh no...I did not think that there would be a happy resolution to this.
Two words "STEP FATHER"

After reading what I just read here yes I believe the stepfather might have tried to molest her and that is when he dumped her body in the river yep this rings stepfather all the way . Poor girl God rest her soul. I hope if the step father did this he rots in hell and if her mother knew what was going on then I hope her soul rots in hell too .
