Getting married in Sept, and looking to take the Honeymoon in Oct (work schedule conflicts right after wedding )
Looking at possibly doing the caribbean. In particular the carribean. I was doing some research and have gotten some pricing for Turks and Caicos. Has anyone ever been there?
Any ideas on other beach destinations (w/ some insite on where to stay) would be awesome!!! We dont' want the whole spring break scene, but we're also not looking to be completley secluded. All inclusive is a plus, but not a must.
If I were to go on a honeymoon, I would like to go to the adults only all inclusive resorts where everything is paid for and you don't have to carry a wallet OR deal with children. That would be an amazing time. From what I hear they are all over the Carribean.
Pick an all inclusive or a cruise, something where all expenses are paid before leaving. Pack swimsuits, sunscreen and reading materials~rest and relax. We did St. Lucia, but there are also nice all inclusives (adults only) on Bermuda, Bahamas, Jamaica and others. How much time do you want to spend traveling might be a consideration. Some of these require changing flight in PR and then taking a jeep or bus to your final destination.
we went to an all inclusive south of cancun - we were scheduled for the adults only, but a hurricane changed all of that - ended up a little closer to the city, but not a spring break vibe at all - lots of neat excursions and a pretty good group of visitors there
also due to the hurricane we were delayed leaving so we went to the shores of lake superior for 4 days - was a blast spending some time in the cool temps on the lake and then spending 10 days on the beach
no matter what you do you'll have a blast
