Hi, can anyone suggest me some of the historical places in Agra and Chennai (India)?

I am planning to visit this November with my friends.

Maybe you should start with checking with the tourist agencies in those cities. What are your interests?

Use a browser and search engine. They are very effective.

There is not much to see in Chennai city. It is an overcrowded, dirty city. There are a few temples like Kapaleshwar temple, Marina beach which I found filthy, Fort St, George and couple of old buildings like the High court and the main Railway station.

But if you venture outside Chennai you can see the old temples of Mahaballipuram. If you take a tour of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry you can see some nice beaches, magnificent temples in Tanjore and Madurai and Ramashwaram and can go all the way to the southern tip of Kanyakumari. Maybe even venture to the backwaters of Kerala from there.

But Agra and Chennai are quite far apart. The flight from nearby Delhi to Chennai is almost 3 hours. India is quite big. It appears small on a map because Mercator maps distort sizes of countries near equator compared to higher latitudes.
