All of the problems in this thread would be solved if obese people would just move more and eat less and lose weight. Isn’t that a better goal? Yes, some weight gain is outside of a person’s control, but a person’s choices have some influence over his or her weight.

They do require a certain percentage of evacuees in the test to be over age 50 though, and some passengers are supposed to be assigned dolls that simulate having to Cary an infant off the plane.

Take this dude for example. He was a good passenger on the left, but these days on the right he is someone who should compensate their neighbor in an airplane? Don't get me wrong I'm not necessarily against charging people more who take up more space, but I'm skeptical that it is a simple issue of poor eating choices for who is in more need of seat width on a plane.
Very good point. The airlines needs these type of tips and scenarios to make it comfortable for everyone.
So anyone they define with broad shoulders or hips and football players may need to buy first class or two economy seats.

yea, maybe. I'm not energized to do so when they never responded to other requests. I only got a thank auto reply email. I guess they're busy doing or scheming up something, right?

It's pretty obvious since it's air travel this will remain a constant. Unlike a subway or metro with people who take up the entire row, the next plane to your destination is not ready to takeoff in 15-30 minutes or even hours.

Maybe China is right in knowing all about their citizens such as height & weight. If that was done here it would automatically trigger a 2-coach seat purchase or first class from an XL or bigger person.
