I will be going to Greece in early June, but I have no idea where to start. There are so many islands and every place I google, I want to go visit, so if you have had any experiences and would be willing to share them with me, that´d be awesome!
I am a 23 year old guy. Partying is not my number one priority, but I wouldn´t mind a couple of fun nights out. My main goal would be to be immersed in a resplendent blue scenery, whether it be by the beaches or landscapes. My ideal trip I think would be to see Athens for a day or two then go to a bunch of different islands. But which ones, and how? Fly? Ferry? Let me know
I'd plan on 2-3 full days in Athens if you've not been before. I would also suggest hiring a guide at the Acropolis--I don't do guided tours per se, but there are a few places in Europe where a guide will make a big difference in your experience, and that is one.
Check the cruise ship schedules before going to Santorini and plan on being there when no big ships will. (If you are there with one of the smaller ships like a Wind star or Compagnie Du Ponant ship you won't know the difference as they only hold a few hundred people at most.)
I did an 11 day and visited Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. This was my first trip to Greece. This was in 2008 and it was the best trip of my life so far. Santorini was the most beautiful place I had ever seen. Having said that, there are so many other islands out there that I would love to visit and I will one day. You could check out Greece Travel Guide: Matt Barrett's Guide to the Greek Islands, Athens and Mainland Greece. I used this site when planning my trip. Matt does a really good job of helping you pick out the islands based on what you are looking for. Some are quieter and more secluded. Some are loud and rowdy. Some are for families and some less so. This site will tell you everything you want to know about the islands of Greece. Hope this helps!
You could fly into Athens, take the ferry to Chania, explore around, end up at Iraklion, then take a ferry to Santorini, explore around, then take the ferry to Ios, explore around, then take a ferry back to Athens.
There are a lot of variations, but this depends on how much time you have.
As for the partying, I love it, many places do not get going until 11 or 12 at night, so do not think the scene is lame if you are out at 9 at night and there is not much going on.
I will have a month to travel around Europe but the trip to the Greek islands is my main priority. I am aiming to spend a week but am willing to spend more if necessary.

Thanks in advance!
A three destination trip to Athens, Santorini, and Mykonos is you best bet. You might even want to see this link to do it cheaply.
Depending on where you are leaving from, a nine day trip can be as cheap as $1,250.00 a person.
