You can't remember whether you've been to Alaska 2 or 3 times? LOL! Totally believable.
I have to think about it. The first time was on vacation about 15 years ago - that I remember and had some memorable experiences, lots of pictures of course. The second time was for business about a decade ago - in early winter or late fall I think, dark at 2PM, frozen ocean off Anchorage, 3 days in and out, get my rental car, do my work thing, check into hotel, repeat, get out. When you travel for business it's a totally different experience and the trips tend to blend together. Anchorage does not stand out that much from other US cities. Do you guys think they live in igloos up there and have bears roaming the streets?
By the way, I would have to do some serious homework - look at expense report records, my dayplanners, frequent flyer mileage history, etc, to figure out how often I've been to Europe in the last 10 years. I have a feeling you and I are from different worlds. Keep on "dreaming", maybe you will get there.

Oh no, I travel frequently and have been to many countries around the world. I flew from Washington, D.C. to Dubai 2 weeks ago and will be there again this weekend.
It just sounded odd that you didn't remember whether you were in Alaska 2 or 3 times. That's a pretty low number to get confused, but I guess that can happen if you're going there just for work.

BTW, my answer to the thread question is - Tokyo.
That's cool, I'm coming off as a jaded traveler. Wow, we may have passed each other in the Dubai airport. I was stuck in that airport for about 6 hours on the evenings of March 9th to 10th morning waiting for an Emerates flight to Mumbai. I wasn't even supposed to be there but got rerouted. I have to count how many times I've been to India as well - was it 5 or 6 times?
Someone mentioned ecuador - galapogos. Yeah that's on my list, but you have to take a boat there.
