Not sure where else to ask this.

I am flying from Boston to Charlotte with a 50 minute connection in Newark. The ticket was booked as a reward ticket through Continental.

I just got my email confirmation and it appears flight #1 is with United and flight #2 is with Continental.

My question is, will my checked bags get routed to the new flight/airline if its a different airline from the first flight?

Anyone know if United and Continental are in the same terminal at Newark?

I am freaking out because we are checking our baby car seats for twins and we would be screwed if they did not make the connection.

Thanks!

CO & UA are one airlne now. 50 min for to connect is fine the "UA" flight will get into Term A (arm A1 or A2) , Just take the bus from the "arm" over to Term C. DO NOT leave the secure area. The Term A/C bus is inside the secure zone. CO/UA pass bags beween each other.

Continental Airlines - New York/Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)

Follow the "GREEN" line to the bus

Plenty of time, and yes your bags will be checked to their final destination when you check in.

You shouldn't have any issues. We (huband and I, and now baby) all "criss cross " pack an outfit in each others bags just in case something happens to one of the bags...
