Having visited some of the places mentioned in previous posts, and being older and less adventuresome, top choice is quite modest and easily doable; problem is to stop thinking about it and actually get going. The plan is a fall drive to Cody, Wyoming. Once there, spend at least two days in the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, which houses many of my interests all in one place. Usually do not care for man made attractions, but this is a major exception. The BBHC has often been referred to as the Smithsonian of the West. After the Center, a drive into Yellowstone to do what I missed on earlier visits, namely a hike into the backcountry. Hopefully, a sighting of wolves and/or a grizzly. Must also visit Grand Teton NP on the way home.
Machu Pichu
Chichen Itza
Next trip to Brazil I would like to explore Sao Paulo
Next time we go to Europe, I hope to visit Venice and a bit of Switzerland
Personally, I could not see myself on a bus THAT long, lol
You don't stay on the same bus. You keep changing and going on to the next destination. Stay overnight in hotels. It could be done comfortably from the Rio Grande to Panama in about ten days.

My "bucket list" keeps growing, but these places are among my travel priorities:
* Return to SF Bay Area and nearby sites (born and raised there, but haven't been back in years)
* Arizona and New Mexico (never been)
* Oregon and Washington Coast, Portland/Seattle (last visit at age 10)
* Alaska (never been, but simply must go)
* Calgary, Canada (penpal of 25+ years lives there)
* Mississippi Delta / Memphis
* Key West and Everglades
* Return to Maine and Vermont
* Yucatan
* Bogota and Cartagena, Colombia
* Peru
* Return to Ecuador and Galapagos
* Patagonia
* Venice, Friuli, Istria
* Crete and other Aegean Islands
* Istanbul
* Prague
* Copenhagen
* Kenya
* Senegal
* Madagascar
* Samarkand
* Tashkent
* Goa
* Thailand
* Laos
* Macau
* New Zealand
* Tasmania
These are places I really, really want to visit, but there are dozens of other places I'll be happy to visit, too.

If you make it to Chichen Itza, plan on being there for the spring equinox. It is incredible.
Right now, I only have one. I retire in two years and I'm treating myself to a week of scuba diving on an Agressor Fleet Live Aboard. I just haven't decided where yet.
