so i have been in toledo before but never settled here to live, well im not really settling this is just a 5 year live here and then its off to maine.

i know this is probably kind of weird for me to post but hey i need help, i am alone here with my 3 kids, i "HAD" people i thought i could count on but hmm guess not. anywho i have gotten an apartment quite nice and over on the west by douglas off of alexis its nice and quite my kids are in washington local s.d which i heard was the better district. my problem is a job, seems to me no one is hiring ha ha not even waitstaff at local diners or bars. this is extremely hard up here and even harder that i have 3 children and no where to go on the weekends because i dont know where is what or where is a great place to take them, the snow was an experience for them but eventually they got burnt out of building a new snowman each time they went outside ha ha.

well if anyone at all has any leads or a helping hand as to which direction to point me in that would be a great help thanks a bunch.

Welcome! You have found a really good area, and Washington is a really good school district. Unemployment is thru the roof, myself and 3/4 of the people I know included, so I can't help there, sorry. There are a lot of really nice parks close by, Wildwood is just out Sylvania Ave. The Zoo is also tops on my list, Lucas County residents are free on Monday. And they have just reopened Cosi downtown, easy drive straight up Cherry Street from our side of town. Come summer it is just a short drive to Monroe or Maumee Bay to the beach. I have no kids at home, can't help much more there. But check out both of these sites, a lot of great ideas. Toledo Ohio and do toledo
