Graduating from Michigan State in December, need to find an apartment in Toledo. I want to live somewhere downtown, where it's close to bars and various nightlife events. I'm used to the college life and don't really see myself in a suburb yet.

I would be very grateful is you could provide me some moderately priced apartments that are both clean and in a good area as described above.

Thanks.

Hey ottsteve. Whats youre price range? Any specific ideas or details as to what you might like youre apartment to be like?

Some suggestions of major apartment buildings off the top of my head...

Commodore Perry
The LaSalle Building
Riverfront Apartments
The Hillcrest
Museum Place

Check any of those out. Theres many other individual units and lofts available through out downtown, you just gotta dig deeper and find em. Theres definitely some cool places, and honestly I dont feel like downtown is very dangerous at all. The only threat I ever feel, ever, is from other fellow drinkers, and thats par for the course, and has nothing to do with the area. You might get a little rif-raf from some homeless people if youre walking down some street but for someone like me, thats a non-issue. I absolutely will not vouch for the immediate surrounding neighborhoods (ghetto), but Downtown itself is pretty safe.

Thanks for replying so quickly.

Anything around 500-600 seems reasonable, thinking something like a studio or a 1 bedroom. I'll definitely look into some of those, though. And yeah, homeless people don't bother me.

The LaSalle and Museum Place (new owners/ new management) would be good places to start.
