How do you find it?
Are the hot, humid summers better than winters in New England,Midwest etc.?
Is it bearable?
How hard is it to play football in?

Texas is huge. Depends on where you are. Generally east will be more humid, west more arid, for example.

My gf is from Cincinnati, and says Houston summers are more bearable than Ohio winter. I have heard the same thing from multiple people from the Midwest and Northeast.

It does get hot, but kids still practice football in the middle of the day all summer for the Fall season. Just keep hydrated and don't ignore your bodies warning signs.

This. The summers get pretty bad in parts of Texas, but it doesn't stop people from still getting out and enjoying their usual activities.

Kids from 2 to 92 enjoy the heat and playing outside, particularly with a running water sprinkler or lake or river or beach, typically shirtless for the guys. Would that be bearable in New England or the midwest in the winter?

Millions been there, done that. Got your answer?

Not this kid!!!!!! I HATE the heat!!! I'm housebound till about the middle of November now I would much rather deal with the cold winter in New England!

I would much rather have the heat here in Texas than the cold in New England and the Midwest. My father is from the Midwest and feels the same way. I prefer the generally drier heat out here in West Texas vs. the eastern half of the state but I'd take the hottest, most humid weather possible in east/southeast Texas over any winters in the states I mentioned above...LOL.
