I think El Paso's forum needs to be El Paso + West Texas. A Rio Grande Valey forum also. I think the hill country forum would be good also.

I had a friend in HS back in 2001 that said that Killeen as well as Austin may had hills but they never considered those two areas the hill country. I don't know, where does it begin? Because as soon as you come down that hill on 190 going towards Killeen, the hills begin. When you go up that hill going towards Austin, the hills disappear.

People will always have their opinions, but I agree with you (even though Austin is rather hilly). The Killeen-Ft. Hood area is so distinct and the horizon is lined with towering hills. And as I said in my post above, Cove is known as the city of five hills, so if that isn't the Hill Country then I want to see what is.

Good map Steel Man..I'm going to say no on the Hill Country forum..I love the area and grew up on the edges, but IMHO, I think a Rio Grande Valley (Brownsville and McAllen, etc) forum or a Panhandle (Amarillo and Lubbock, etc) forum should come before a Hill Country region gets one.
