I've been there many times. In laws live in Del Rio and husbands late grandmother lived in Quemado.

I am also looking to relocate near the casino....you say there is nothing to do near it?? No bowling alleys? Any ability to mingle and meet people I would be moving there by myself?

NOTAM Any violence in Mexico has not spilled over to Texas> El paso is often rated as one of the safest cities in the US yet cartels fight across the border. Teh smae is true in most border areas.
