I need help in deciding to move to Dallas or Austin. I am in my late 20's and single. I would be looking for a job in sales/marketing, what is the job market like? I do like to go out on the weekends. Would like to be close to nice restaurants and shopping. Traffic is bad in both cities, i know, but which place has better drivers? What are the people like in both cities?Eventually if I have children I would need to think about a good school district too. Please any info you have on either or both cities.....I need any input

Either city is fine for what you are proposing. Each has their own distinctive 'personallity', but both are economically strong and provide lots of options for a 20-something. Dallas tends to be more cosmopolitan and Austin a little more 'environmental', but each has both. You will have to decide which you like better....

I need help in deciding to move to Dallas or Austin. I am in my late 20's and single. I would be looking for a job in sales/marketing, what is the job market like? I do like to go out on the weekends. Would like to be close to nice restaurants and shopping. Traffic is bad in both cities, i know, but which place has better drivers? What are the people like in both cities?Eventually if I have children I would need to think about a good school district too. Please any info you have on either or both cities.....I need any input
