Catman... over the last couple years at least 4 new hotels have been put up here. Two right along the 306 loop (main highway besides 87), and two on major roads in convenient areas.

Lights are on for you, too!

Thank you for the pictures. They make us very homesick. We left San Angelo over 20 years ago but have gone back to visit every year. Next May we will move back and plan to never leave. Like others we've lived a lot of places but have never found a "home" like San Angelo. We've really missed living there.

Great pics!! Spent last several years of high school living in San Angelo, and graduated Lakeview HS with honors. Went through several years ago to look at ASU, very pretty campus. Recognized the downtown buildings, Cactus Hotel, and Caldwell Music where my brother would go to buy sheet music. We lived on Preusser St., a little more run down now but was good to go back down memory lane.

Smile New, Exciting, Refreshing

Considering I've never been to San Angelo, it is refreshing seeing new pics from a new city. We've had pics from everywhere else, but this set may be the first that I've seen from San Angelo on C-D.com. And that's two weeks in a row that RGV has visited a city I've never been to (the other was Bryan, which was last week). Again, wonderful pics, senor RGV.

Cool! A lot of the buildings downtown look much like some in Abilene. Makes sense, I guess, as it's close by. I haven't been to San Angelo yet. Someone mentioned Angelo State? I believe it's now part of Texas Tech. Don't know if they changed the name of it at all.

Thx again.

Nick, I might be down there this November. Hopefully, I'll have time to get to PI and the island after visiting the family in Browntown.

Case, Bryan's pics were from 3-07, someone brought that thread back from the dead.

adios

November is a great time to go, RGV. Have you been to Laguna Atascosa? You may also want to take some pics from there...it's a backroad on the way to Los Fresnos/Rio Hondo. YOu may also want to take pics of SPI.

Keep up the good work!
