Ok I can relate to that I went to Odessa High! And 6/3 actually Odessa and Permain always ended their regular season against each other, just after the Permain and Lee game;Though seemed to know noticed as the conclusion was pretty much already known.

Pretty much, yes. I didn't go to HS in Midland, though.

Speaking of high schools, what happened to Ector High?

I can't remember the little history I used to know about Permian, Odessa and Ector.

This will be Abilene Cooper's first year as a 4A school. It was a small 5A during 2007-2008. It will be a LARGE 4A.

Anyway i'm going to the store today to get grub and they should have ''Dave Campbells Texas Football'' magazine in the magazine rack and if they do i'm buying it as it features every single high school in every classification and gives the predicted finish in district for each team and also how many players returning on offence and defense for every team and i'll give out more info once i buuy it (usually about $10.00 for the mag).

Aug 28 is the kickoff !!!!!
I just bought Campbell's magazine ($9.95 at Wal Mart). The reason I bought it is that one of my grandchildren is listed as a "player to watch" in district 6-2A. It's just a sentence, but we are all proud.

Desegregation; They turned Ector into a junior high, and now you either go to Odessa High or permian. Did I forget to use caps correctly? I'm sorry. LOL
