Hello, I recently got a job in Livingston and I’m looking to relocate from the Spring area to a bit closer to work. I will be moving with my girlfriend and her son. We are preferably looking to rent a 3 bedroom house. I’m looking for an area that is safe with a good school system. I was considering Onalaska but there are not many options on the market in that town. I was also looking at Huntsville and Lufkin but would prefer to be closer if possible (working long shifts so the less that I have to drive the better) does anyone who might be familiar with that area have any recommendations? Thank you

I’d like to be under $1350.

Also, The 3 bedroom house would be the ideal situation but I’m not opposed to considering other options as well.

Here's a thread, albeit a bit outdated, in which posters discuss the town of Livingston. It seems like a fine place to me. I wouldn't mind living there, but maybe you want something a little bigger?
