Hi-
I've been to Odessa 3 or 4 times for cruisin' as an undergrad at TX TECH (Class of May 2005-B.S. Human Dev. & Fam. Studies).

Are The Meteor Crater Museum & The Presidential Museum Worth the Drive from Dallas??

Thanks,
fallguy

Sounds like you need to just jump the gun and take a few roadtrips and then you'll really know

Try this, my friend. Go on your trips first, and then come back to us with a report. That's a better way for us and others to know because you've experienced something we may not have before. There are a lot of bloggers who've probably never been to these places you mentioned. A lot of things are better after the fact, not before it.

Just try it. Make some plans to go if it works for you. Whether it ends up good or bad, fallguy, I promise you, you'll never go wrong.

Thank you to all respondents.

Hopefully will be rocketing through Odessa soon on the way to Fort Stockton for historical value & good Tex-Mex at Bienvenidos & Mi Casita as a living tribute to a still-living friend who is from FS but now lives in Denton.

later,

fallguy

Default Sandhills

Don't know if this is on your agenda but we went to Sandhills State Park in Monahans today I-20 Exit 86 and it makes an interesting stop with plenty of picnic areas--it was very interesting and the kids had a blast playing in the sand. Don't go if it's windy though ouch!
