Two movies shot in Texas are up for 16 oscar grabs this year. They are: NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN and THERE WILL BE BLOOD.

All were shot in Marfa, Texas.

No Country for Old Men was also shot in downtown Albuquerque and largely outside of Las Vegas, NM.

I can't wait for the DVD to come out!

I've been wanting to see No Country but heard it's pretty violent. But it's supposed to be pretty authentic right down to the West Texas accents.
