Maybe so but the Administrators are basing on post interests/counts about the cities. I don't think they could careless about whether it is started by the same people.

That's correct. New subforum decisions are based on the number of posts and threads, and those do not necessarily correspond with population.

Tyler will become the de facto east Texas forum, most likely, whereas Lubbock will become the panhandle forum.

IMHO, that's a good thing. I can see having combined forums for cities that have close proximity to each other like Midland-Odessa, Tyler-Longview, Temple-Killeen, etc., but not larger regions like West Texas, East Texas, etc.
