Hello all!
My husband just might be getting an electrician job at Nucor in Jewett. He's heard great things about the company, I am interested if anyone has heard anything about the Nucor mill. Is it a good, stable place to work?
We don't want him to make the commute from Waco, so we're thinking about renting for a while in Palestine? It looks like a good option for us. We're young but pretty laid back, we have a baby and we're very family oriented. We like historical stuff and we don't party lol so I think it's a good fit.
However...we would be making too much money to rent at many of the low-income apartments available in Palestine. Does anyone know of any apartments that aren't low-income? Any recommendations for our family are greatly appreciated!

You've probably already decided where to live, but Palestine is a WAYS from Jewett. You might try Buffalo, it's a pretty little town with friendly people. :-)
