Have you seen the east side of Downtown Houston recently? All the projects currently u/c esp the GRB convention and the surrounding hotels? Not to mention the come back of the night district between Main and Travis Streets.

I know you really don't give 2 cents what's going on in Houston, but Dallas is not the only show going on. I don't see what Dallas is doing that Houston isn't doing unless you're talking about the glamorous bridges going over the Trinity River [mod cut]

I want to remind everyone of the topic of this thread. This is a thread to discuss the PROGRESS of varius Texas Cities. Endless bickering between Houston VS Dallas posters will not be tolerated. Your endless squabbling is unflattering to both cities and the topic has been beaten to death all over this forum. Future attempts to hijack this thread will be deleted with infractions issued.

Its only 1/3 done.....there's another arch along with cables and lighting.

It is comical that Houston posters compare the bridge they mentioned to this one. The Dallas bridge arches are 25 stories tall and the Houston one is about 2 car lengths tall. The new Dallas bridge is downtown not out in the suburbs.
