This is what these corrupt camera companies do, they set up and pay for astroturf groups that act like citizen groups supporting red light cameras and start suing to deny the people their voting rights. Chicago Camera Front Group Thwarts Texas Referendum

I've had the opinion for a while that red light camera's are a tax on Texans by out of state corporations. They give local governments kickbacks for the right tax us.

Last legislative session a house bill was passed to ban them in the state, unfortunately the senate did not do the same.

Thing to watch for is how long the yellow light is.

Under 3 seconds and they "get" folks, but it also Very Dangerous.

As the yellow time goes over 3 seconds, so few people run the red that they are not profitable.

Overall, the cameras seem like good targets for a paint-ball gun.

In Houston we the people voted to dismantle and abolish those communist tax machines. It's funny though..........I just can not seem to recall ever seeing a vote put to the people before they installed these cameras.

Hmmmm what gives here?!?!?!?!?!?!?

To this day they refuse to remove the cameras though they did turn them off. I bet they are waiting till the heightened awareness of the voters wear off then they will just secretly turn them back on against the will of the people. Well hey, that's how your govt operates.

And as some pro camera people love to point out, the vote was only about 52% against. Seems close but not really. A great number of PRO votes were bought. As some one suggested above, these camera manufacturers spent millions hiring voters to vote YES to these cameras. Well that's how Nobama got into office isn't it? For that matter that's how most all politicians get in.
