You don't really get to choose which one you go to, it would depend where you live. But Nikki Rowe seems the best academically and McHi sports-wise, the third school is Memorial.

I always thought of Memorial as the Academic one, but no doubt McHI sports wise. Also, McAllen ISD has an IB highschool shared by all 3 highschools. you can be at IB and play sports for McHI

I have a post on this form about Mcallen that you may want to read. We are moving there this summer as well.

SherryLand and Mcallen SD are the best choices. My wife went to McHI and loved it. She now has a masters from Trinity in SA. Either district would be good.

Keep in touch about hows it going...

Default Don't come here!!!!

You will kick yourself in a year. A black hole that will suck you dry of your savings and wellbeing. Beware: unless you have esxceptionally wise children, the valley inferiority complex will attack them and drag them down with valley kids....yuck. A bad place to come.

You keep talking about this debt. We need more information. It doesn't make any sense.

From what I read, the Science Academy of South Texas is one of the very best public high schools in the United States. And it's open enrollment for anyone living in Hidalgo County. Don't know about sports there, however.

Really? Attack them and drag them down? My brother graduated from Edinburg High School and goes to MIT, for the past 4? years at least 1 person from my school has gone to MIT, not to mention the many others who are attending other prestigious schools. You sure wouldn't want to have us Valley kids drag them down..
