I rated it as good. I would have rated as amazing except for the Mr. Microphone building. I hate those ugly buildings that look like someone just wanted to build a cheap but tall structure.

It is called Reunion Tower, it has a restaurant and observation deck in it.

Yeah, I know, but thanks for the info. I have been up there a long time ago.

In the video I notice that one building has a huge ad on it. Eww, tacky.

They put that up for the Dallas NBA All Star Game.

Dallas skyline is somewhere in between amazing and good...A couple of new signature towers would take Dallas Skyline to the next level.

I agree somewhat, but imo, Dallas already has some great individual signature towers, and I will concede that it has some better signature towers than Downtown Houston.I say it gets NEW towers, it doesn't have to be a signature tower, just that the DT skyline needs an update. That extension of the skyline to Uptown Dallas is nice and all, but Uptown is rather short, and all DT needs is more infill. That will, imo, take DT Dallas to the next level, just 10 or more new towers taller than 300 ft.

I always felt that Dallas' skyline is what the future looked like..... in 1986. Still, it is a beautiful skyline from my hotel right now, and certainly the nicest in Texas (with all due respect to Houston).

I'd bump that 300 ft. up to about 450-500 ft. A 300 footer in the middle of Downtown Dallas would still get lost just as it would in Houston. Now in a skyline like Austin or San Antonio a 300 footer does wonders.
