Am house searching and came across a wonderful old house in the town of Trezevant, Tn. Am wondering if anyone can tell me anything about this town? What it is like living here??????

Looks like it is a small place, do you shop in Jackson, or Nashville or Memphis????

Would love to hear anything about it

I had to look that one up myself (I don't believe I've ever even heard of the town and I've lived in Tennessee most of my life). I'm assuming the people there go to Jackson for most of their shopping. It looks like it's way off the beaten path.

And according to Google it's spelled with two e's and one a. I only mention that in case someone else needs to look it up.

There is some information on the town here on the C-D site: https://www.city-data.com/city/Trezevant-Tennessee.html Population listed: 888 (so yeah, it's a small place).

Laguna Beach to Trezavant Tn! Wow! I would be surprised if the population was still as high as 888. The town is dying. There is no work there. No grocery store. There use to be clothing manufacturers there but they have all closed down. There is 1 convenience store and a beer joint. That is pretty much it. Most people there drive about 12 miles to the town of Milan to do most of thier basic shopping. Any large shopping is done in Jackson. Coming from Laguna Beach you probably arent used to being around rednecks. If you come you better be ready for it! That area is redneck central where a longstanding understanding exists between the whites and blacks. There is a certain way of life there that outsiders may not easily understand. If you feel that you MUST comment on the way of life in Trezavant, as many from California seem to want to do, you might be better off looking elsewhere. Good luck whatever you decide!
