I am looking for a cheap motel for this coming weekend. I have a Ptest for the Knxville Police Departmet Saturday and will be coming in Thursday. Any suggestions would be great? Also anyone know wherew I coul get some relocation info while I am there?? Oh do they still have Pumpkin Butter at the Jelly Jar in Gatlinburg??

I just googled 'strawberry plains hotels' and got lots of results.

Not sure what you mean by 'east Knoxville' but I would definitely stay in east Knox county. East knox city can be old, weird or dangerous depending on what part you're in.

My parents stayed at The Country Inn in Strawberry Plainsand the rooms were nice.Knoxville, Tennessee Hotels: Country Inn Hotel Knoxville: Knoxville Hotel near Interstate 40
Google hotels Strawberry Plains, Tn. and you'll get lots of results.

We've stayed at the La Quinta at that exit before. It isn't the chepest, but the beds are nice and soft, and they have a fairly decent breaskfast. They allow pets, so you might not want to stay if you have allergies.
