I found a site that is auctioning off land in the Penegrine Estates area in Henderson county between Memphis and Nashville. The parcels are 5 acres and all wooded. They are reasonably priced and next to a golf course. I would like to put in a bid but I only have a few days before the auction is closed which doesn't give me time to go down and check it out. I live in northern Va. Is anyone out there familiar with this development? It is close to Cedar Grove, Jackson and I think Lexington. Thank you for any advice you can give.

Default whoops

whoops, I misspelled it. It is Peregrine Estates, not Penegrine. Anyway, I am tired of the congestion and crime of Northern Va, but I can't leave, I have a successful hair salon business that pays my bills. But I would like to purchase something in Tn for my later years. Please help.

Saw your post...I live about 3-5 miles from this area. I have played the Falcon Ridge Golf Course several times and it is a really beautiful course. I did not realize that there was a development near there.
I will check it out and let you know something in a day or two.

Okay, I drove by Falcon Ridge yesterday morning on my way to work. I saw what I believe is the "development" that was being advertised. The area has lots of gullys. I think it may be possible for someone to get a chunk of land that because of the terrain would be impossible to build on.
West Tn is a wonderful area to live in. If you were interested in moving to this area I thinnk the best thing to do would be to contact one of our local realtors and ask what is available. They may also be able to tell you more about Peregrine also.
Moderator cut: cut realtor info

Hope this helps!
