My favorite is the "Foothills Parkway" (the drivable portion) from Walland to 129.

How 'bout ya'll? Got a favorite?

11W from Knoxville (Rutledge Pike) to 25E, then north to the Cumberland Gap. First part is through the Clinch River Valley, some small towns and old farms. Last part is through some spectacular mountains and rocks.

I just love going to Gatlinburg I think in Pidgeon forge its the parkway?, I love going on the road into Gatlinburg through the trees and seeing the both sides of the road with falls. The trees are even overhead of you , so beautiful in the summer.

Default Rte 441

Rte 441 in Norris.

It goes by Norris Dam State Park (east and west entrances), Norris Dam (which you drive over), two Norris Dam (a high dam) overlooks, a park on the side of the dam with picnic tabes overlooking the water, a marina, Weirs Dam (a low dam with a pull off where you can park and will occasionally see people fishing from shore or fly fishing in their waders), the threshing barn, grist mill and Lenoir Museum, hiking trails and riding trails and if you drive past the mill, the Norris watershed dirt and gravel road.

Cherohala Parkway from Tellico Plaines to Robbinsville, NC - then take 129 (including the Dragon!) back to 411 south of Maryville. A nice almost full circle trip.

Route 64 along the Ocoee river is also a nice ride.

Best if you are not in the back seat.

Jeff
