My hubby and I met a couple from Cleveland, TN last summer at the NE GA Mountain Music Festival. The gentleman (sorry I cannot remember his name!) was a part of the Storytelling Festival. He was a volunteer, not a storyteller, but as he spoke about the Festival he sounded like a real storyteller.

It has to be a lot of fun from what we heard from this TN couple. People from several states join in on the fun. DH and I went to an evening of Appalachian Storytellers here in N GA last winter. It was fascinating. The storytellers dressed in character and told of events of the past as an eye witness. Lots of laughs and lots of poignant moments.

We won't make it this year, but hope to have it in our schedule of things to do in the future. Three day festival sounds just great!
