Do sprinkles count, mbmouse? That is what they seem to predicting for your area all the way through Sat. It may add up! Grab your galooshes and umbrella before you head out the door.

Smile Chatt Airport 2 1/2 inch total so far.

Gang, Mon & Tues (Hard) has about 2 1/2 inches at the airport.
. More residual for Wed am. .Forcast for weekend 70 degrees and Sun back. Should be peak colors, even some leaves fell off with heavy rain, but not much wind. .Will be cutting grass Friday at church & home.
. Maybe adding some plants if we get lucky. Got chainsaw fixed just as a backup.

The rain has slacked off here. I'm surprised I'd say this, but I kind of hope it stops raining for a few days, then start up again next week. We had two days of pretty solid rain.

I selfishly agree, alleycat. We are driving back up to E TN tomorrow AM to dirt shop again - after getting chased back home on Mon. by all the rain in Chattanooga.

Maybe it could just rain after dark. Do you think anybody can arrange that? We sure do need the rain.

Yeah, someone can. Uh, but I don't think he's a member of the City-Data forum.

Default Orme Tennessee Is Out of Water

And it's starting to look a little like fall here. I noticed a few more trees were beginning to change color.
Orme, Tennessee (where is that?) is out of drinking water.

ABC News: Drought Dries Out Town's Water Supply

Good thing we aren't in Georgia. They want to go to war with Florida and Alabama over water issues...well, not exactly war but their politicians are using fightin' words. Florida has mussels that may be in danger if they change the water flow in Georgia. Now come on Florida, you don't have some water saved up in your swimming pools that can house a few refugee mussels for a couple of months?

Orme is near Lake Nickajack, not too far from Chattanooga. Down there the've probably had it worse than anyone this year when it comes to rainfall.
