Can anyone provide me with a list of any Engineering offices around the area of Madisonville or close to outside Knoxville? I am a Civil Designer working in Florida and looking to move to Madisonville within the next 6 months and want to get a jump on setting up interviews. Thanks for all your help.

Try this link out:

http://www.kbe.org/ipin2/A&EResults.asp?Ltr=L

It is part of the Knoxville Builders Exchange. I am a Professional Land Surveyor and also moving to area next summer. Seems like a lot of land development is happenning in this area of Tennessee, so you should not have any problems finding employment. You might want to try the Seiverville area also.

My search will be more towards the tri-cities area.

Good Luck

My family (Wife and two kids) and I are big into ATVs and my wife and kids are big into horses. There appears to be more opportunities for enjoying both of these recreations in Tennessee than there is where we live in Florida. We are running out of areas due to the development of massive pieces of properties. It is good for the company I work for but not for our home.

Hi, I am Lost One's wife. Thank you for the great information. I am really looking forward to getting out of Florida. Tennessee seems to be just what we are looking for.

She fits in anywhere the world takes her. I am the one afraid of change. We are soooo secure in my job. I can come and go as I please, take time off when I want, and work as many hours as I can (that part is encouraged. There is no threat of being layed off and NO chance of being fired for any reason, as long as you get the work done that is. I am looking for a company that I can do that with, not that I take a lot of time off or take advantage of the company I am presently at, but knowing I can do that makes it a more enjoyable place to work.
