Hi All,

I have enjoyed reading the Tampa posts--thanks for taking the time to help and inform others.

My hubby has accepted a job in Pinellas Park and we will be moving there soon from the Orlando area. (We are from VA and have been short timers in Orlando.) I am learning about neighborhoods and opinions on this site!

For the next month to six weeks Hubby will need to stay in the Pinellas Park area during the week and come to Orlando area on weekends. We have to give notice to the landlord, etc. As you can imagine, taking on this additional expense will add to our financial stress since moving costs a lot to begin with.

So, can anyone tell me of places in the Pinellas County area that might have affordable weekly rentals without being dives or in unsafe areas? Renting a room in a house and/or a small motel would be great. Hubby is rather quiet and shy and an easy roomer. (Ok, we've been married more than 25 years so I AM biased. ) Can give excellent references.

Any info will be MUCH appreciated!

Mar Bay Motel -Safey Harbor-this is on Phillippe parkway, which is very safe area. Looks like a small quaint family owned motel. Found some reviews for it.

safetyharbormotel.com-on main street near McMullen Booth-don't know much about it.

I don't know where in Pinellas park he will be working, but these are across the bayside bridge, and off McMullen Booth not too far to commute.
