Does anyone know what the commute would be like from palm harbor (just east of lake tarpon) to Downtown St pete?

i have a job in st pete that starts in a couple of months and my wife and I are moving down to the area. My parents bought a house in palm harbor so we wanted to be as close as possible since we dont know anyone in the area.

also, what would the commute be from oldsmar or safety harbor.

also, any thoughts on good gated communities in those areas for young familieis?

Thanks!

We have just moved to Palm Harbor. My daughter commutes from Safety Harbor to downtown St. Pete daily via McMullen Booth-Bayside Bridge. It takes her about 45 mins.

Safety Harbor is a better commute to St. Pete.
I myself do not gated communities.

I have a friend who makes the commute from Palm Harbor to downtown St.Pete and it takes her about an hour.

The drive from Oldsmar to Safety Harbor (I'm assuming you're interested in rush hour times) isn't that bad, depending on where you are and where you're going in each town. But those two areas are pretty close together - I would say 10 -20 minutes at most.

There are a lot of nice areas of Palm Harbor, but keep in mind that it is one of the pricier areas of the county to live in.
