Trinity area is the only part of West Pasco that I'd consider living.

Hi, I moved to Pasco very recently with my wife and young son.
I live in the collier parkway area of Land O lakes.

We were used to living somewhere were you could walk to shops and not having to use the car all the time. The area at collier parkway is very much like this. The large recreation center and library are also within walkable distance.

I have drove around a lot of areas in Pasco some are a bit run down. Mostly around SR52. There are a lot of nice housing estates in Trinity and Wesley Chapel but it depends on your needs. some of these housing estates are isolated and you will need the car to get to the nearest shop.

Best Of Luck with your move.

Well, it really depends on budget and lifestyle (golf, beach, neither?). Were it me retiring today, I would be looking around East Bay in Largo for golf and around Pasadena/Gulfport for beach living. The millage rate for taxes is lower in both Pasco (~.15) and Pinellas (~.19) than in Hillsborough (~.21).
