The Cove apts are in a good location. They are older apts but I heard they had done some updating and many have washer/ dryers now. I lived there at one time and you can't beat the sunsets over the water. They use to have parties frequently and at one time was one of the best apts in S. Tpa.
Hopefully Tampaguy can tell you how they are now.

The Cove went uncer major renovations. I have a friend that lives there...nice apartments, GREAT location, on the Bay and very central to all of South Tampa, gated access 24 hours, tennis, pools. This was once THE place to live back in the 90's, but lots of newer rental aprtments sprang up all over South Tampa, but it is still a desirable location.
Grand Key are converted aprtments and now condos..beautiful lush grounds, key west style architecture, off Dale Mabry Hwy, a main artery through Tampa. Again, great location.

Default Good apartments

Hey there,

There are a great number of good apartments in South Tampa. The Cove is older but on the water on Westshore. (Recently renovated/painted) There are also tons of Condo/House rentals. I used to live at Bay Oaks which is older but right on Bayshore so you can run/walk on the Bayshore. Camden has 3 properties on Westshore, 2 are south of Gandy, one is right at Gandy.

If you are looking higher end, Habour Island downtown has a Post apartment and there are tons of condos to rent as well.

Good luck in your move!

Steve
