My brother-in-law would like to rent a fully furnished home or condo for the months of Feb-March 2014. It would be his wife and a small (Westie) dog who is 10 years old and completely housebroken. Heated pool is a must for him.... They stayed at Little Harbor last year, the condo was nice, but brother wants a heated pool..any ideas?

I would focus more on the condos, as the cost of heating a home pool during those months is REALLY expensive. If I decided to heat mine 24/7 for a month, it would easily cost at least $600 in natural gas, of which I would be charging my potential renter more than that to cover it.

Maybe just a hot tub?

I tend to agree...what is his budget? You're looking at a very pricey rental; 3-6 month snowbird (read: cash cow) rentals are already expensive. Throw a heated pool into the mix and I doubt you'll find anything under 2.5-3k as far as a house goes, and slim pickings to be sure. I would definitely be looking for a townhouse/condo instead.

I'd much prefer the hot tub to a heated pool unless it is a health issue as in need it for certain exercises.
