I've been looking at relocating to Spring Hill. I plan on moving to a home around Tryon Circle. Does anyone know if this is a good and quiet area to live in? I have two teenagers and they also like the quiet and safe surroundings. I also had an opportunity to move to Sherman Hills but I do not want my kids attend any of the Brooksville schools. Thanks for your feedback.

Some of the other folks who have been longer than I may be able to help you with some additional info.

Thank you for your reply. I guess that is not bad considering I come from NYC.

Try looking in the northern part of Spring Hill closer to state Road 50 maybe the other side of State Road 50 also in the lower part of Royal Highlands.
If you get too far up in the Highlands the houses are too spread out and your kids wouldn't be happy since they would not be close to a lot of other kids. The schools the Highlands are zoned for are good schools.

A rather large rap sheet but if you look at the dates they do cover incidents back to 1997 and theres only been one incident in 2013 the last being in 2011.

You are not going to find many areas of Spring Hill where the crime is really bad my problem with that area south of Spring Hill Dr is a lot of the homes on Pinecrest and streets off Pinecrest are not the best kept properties.

There is not enough money on this planet to make me move to SH. Drove through there going north and OMG...literally middle of nowhere, and aside from being hot outside, you cannot tell you are still in Florida. You go from ugly old homes, (red neck like population) to gated/or not subdivisions and more chains. There is nothing attractive about living there...and for you OP coming from NYC as you like us to "know", prepare yourself for some culture shock. My suggestion is that you visit, or your teenagers will hate you forever for moving them up there.
Where's work? cause commuting from there anywhere will suck too.

I'm from Miami...we're only here cause of jobs. The western area only has the nice beaches to brag about, everything else is no different than middle of nowhere elsewhere in the US. It kind of sucks to be still in FL but look nothing like it.

Springhill may not be where i'd live in Florida but Mom and Dad seem to like the area and i dont see much of a problem with the majority of the area, as for all the money on the planet to live there?i'd live there for a lot less than that.
