Went with my son today to look at apt's in downtown St.Pete...I love the old North East..but he wants to be near the Trop and the bars...does anyone have a suggestion on what complexes are good for a 26yr old just starting out??

I was just down there looking around myself and I love the downtown area. I saw a "complex" downtown, right in the walkable area that looked great, if only I were younger lol. Its called Fusion 1560. Look them up....not sure about prices but they looked great! Best wishes!

Fusion 1560 prices are very high, like $1.50/sq ft., but yeah, the location is ideal for him.

Look at rent.com or hotpads. I was looking for someone a few weeks ago and there were some nice apartments in the $1000-1500 range for 1 bedrooms. I'm sure he could find something cheaper on the edge of Old North East that would be an easy walk to everything he wants.
