I am starting a new job in downtown St. Pete in a week and a half. I have already been accepted for an apartment (but I haven't signed the lease yet). I am leaving Northern Va tomorrow on my Harley to check out the apartment and to get my bike down there. I will be arriving for good next weekend. I am excited about the move, we have been trying to get down to Fl for the past year but things never worked out until now. Luckily a company was hiring for my specality at the same time my lease and my current contract were coming to an end. I am looking forward to the beaches, sunshine and bike nights every night of the week.

Can't beat that

Congrats in your job and move! Ride safe....There are a lot of bike accidents over here, so take extra care until you know your way.

Welcome!

Good luck...may I ask you, was it difficult to land a job from out of state? How did you go about that, and was it a lengthy process?

Thanks.

Hi,
Getting the job from being out of state was pretty easy. I am very specialized with what I do so I receive calls from headhunters all over the country. In this particular case, the headhunter called me on a friday. we had the interview with the client on wens and I was hired on thursday. the headhunting company has an office where I live up here so I did all the paperwork up here last week. I applied for an apt down there and was approved but I am going to check it out while I am down thier prior to signing the lease. It was perfect timing as my townhouse lease up here in VA is up this month and my current contract just finished today.
