Can anyone recommend some good apartments in the Tampa Palms area? I've been getting mixed reviews on some of the apartment complexes. I would preferably like to stay west of I-75, as to stay closer to USF.

Vista Grande
Vista Grande at Tampa Palms Apartments, Tampa FL 33647 , Promenade (walking distance to the local YMCA, but it is also a little over your $1,000 budget you mentioned in a previous posting). Grande Reserve use to have good ratings, but lately, people seem to be unhappy there.

I can tell you that you would not like Compton Place Apartments.
The Camben apartments are filled with a lot of USF students. I know several people who have lived there and liked it. You are within walking distance to a small strip mall that has the billards I told you about before and several nice restaurants. As well as Lifestyle gym, banks, doctors offices. Another shopping center is a little further, but still you can walk there. That strip mall has Publix (our grocery store), more restaurants, more banks and stores to shop.
