Very nice area in the Fayetteville-Manlius SD, if I'm not mistaken. It is off of Route 92, east of the village of Manlius.

What would you like to know? It's a more mature sort of housing development... at the edge of the Manlius-Pompey border, on Pompey Center Road. It's a straight shot to Toggenburg, and comfortably removed from - but still very near and adjacent - Rte. 92, a kind of suburban>country "highway" that runs between Syracuse and Cazenovia. Pompey Pines is also very near the schools, if that's applicable to you.

Thanks.

The one we are looking at says FM schools.

We are wondering about the kind of people who live in the area, the safety, etc. Mostly curious about the "culture" of the neighborhood, if that makes sense.... Hoping it is a nice area but not a "keeping up with the Jones" culture.

I wouldn't worry about safety. It is an affluent neighborhood/area, but I'm sure if it is a "Keeping Up With the Joneses" type of neighborhood.

They are the Jones. lol - but very friendly, ime. They're not keeping up with anyone... or expecting/hoping that anyone is keeping up with them. They're just being the Jones. Does that make sense?
