Anyone use milk thistle as a vitamin supplement? (allergies, blood, enzymes)

I do. It doesnt affects me adversely. I take it because Im on an Anti-depressant and it supposedly
helps the liver. I take the capsules. They also have a tea you can drink.

How does it positively affect you? I have some but haven't taken it lately. Does it make you feel better?
Milk thistle is antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and is good for protecting the liver from toxin damage and helps stimulate the regeneration of liver tissue.
If you use it as a bitter this will also help stimulate liver function.
In some cases I prefer turmeric, which is a stronger anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, but works equally as well as milk thistle in protecting the liver.

Turmeric in pill form or...I am on looooong term antibiotics for Borreliosis and have been looking about Milk Thistle,but for some strange reason Ragweed now bothers me and I am a bit concerned about trying it.

What about those of us who ragweed swells and burns our eyes now..is milk thistle ok and what kind of problems might one encounter if you DO have an allergic reaction?
