Then they double the abomination by putting provel cheese on it, which melts like soupy american cheese.

I'm a big fan of local BBQ, soul food, and local hamburger places. Don't care for St. Louis style pizza like I do Chicago, Detroit and NYC. I will take out of town guest from the southeast but most midwestern and east coasters don't like "Imos sytle".

When I think of St Louis style food, I think of St Louis ribs, toasted ravioli, and Busch beer.

I've lived in St. Louis area most of my life, and I love Imos. We have Imos at work every Wednesday.

As St. Louis native, St. Louis Style Pizzas from Imo's Pizza are the best. Ted Drewes' Frozen Custard and Toasted Raviolis from Mama Tuscano's are other local favorites along with Park Avenue Coffee for gooey butter cakes.

Never heard of BBQ Pork Steaks being originated from St. Louis. We don't really eat much pork other than bacon and ham in my family.

I like IMO's too. I also like other styles/types of pizza. What I really enjoy about IMO's though is how much it drives the pizza snobs crazy.

At my office, we used to occasionally get IMOS at meetings, not a regular thing, but if we got pizza it was usually IMOs. Then pizza nazis took over, and for 5 years nothing but Racanelli's new york style. I have nothing against New York style, but Racanelli's is not great. Lots of greasy dough if you ask me.

I like all kinds of pizza and if someone else is paying I don't turn my nose up. And I LOVE Provel cheese. I'd take proves over mozzarella any ol time.
