Hi,

I will be moving in to St Louis just before christmas this year. I am looking for a safe and good apartment complex, close enough to the Wash U campus at Brookings Drive. I will be using public transportation such as bus and metro-link as I dont drive.
Any suggestion for apartment complexes and on any other issues I should consider is highly appreciated. Thanks

S

Hi, There are several good, safe apartment complexes on Forsyth Blvd, about a 3 block walking distance from campus, and near a Metro station. These may be a bit pricey, however. Another suggestion is to check out the reality company Front Door at Apartments in Saint Louis | FrontDoor, LLC . They have a number of properties in the St. Louis area and some near WashU. WashU's guide to housing can be found at Guide to the WU Community . If you have not found a place yet, they do have a link for temporary housing on this page. Finally, there are apartment complexes in the Delmar Loop area. Some neighborhoods in this area are completely safe, and others are not. Please be careful and visit before choosing a place in this neighborhood! Hope that helps.

What's your budget?

For the most part any places right near WashU will be safe and primarily filled with students.
