The inner loop of Houston is much larger than the city of St. Louis in terms of geographical size, and population. Houston is very spread out and big, much more so than St. Louis.

Opinions will be subjective.

I would suggest the original poster do the things to become happier with oneself first, self mastery if you will, while researching possibilities.

St. Louis is not the be all end all, and it is not for everyone. I could say that for any other place too. No place is better than another, just diferent.

As for some of the questions or comments from the original poster, Houston is bigger than Atlanta, and will be very spread out depending on where you are and where you are going. Much of my time there has been inside the loop. I couldn't imagine being any farter out than that. But obviously many people are just fine with that. I wished St. Louis had the airport capabilities of either of those two places.
