Why not? St Louis has lots to see and do, affordable housing, and a good transportation system.

Yeah, IF you can find a job. I have a degree and spent two years unemployed in St. Louis. I moved down here to Florida and found a good job within 3 weeks.

I too would think "job" would be the number 1 for graduating students...they don't want to be unemployed immediately following college, and the way the economy is, that might be a very realistic situation.

I was very lucky in my employment endeavors. Was making steady job progress from the time I left college until I took a step backwards in 2008...was able to recover from that by 2009, and am once again on an upward slope. Had to change careers to keep things progressing, but sometimes that's what it takes.

Does anyone actually put any thought into these articles beyond reading the headlines?
This "study" was done by Apartments.com and CareerRookie.com (that right there tells me not to take any of the "study" seriously)
Here is their methodology:

"The list is based on the ranking of the U.S. cities with the highest concentration of people ages 20-24, an inventory of jobs requiring less than one year of experience, and the average cost of rent for a one-bedroom apartment."

Yeah, that's real scientific and accurate. What's worse, is that people on forums like this see that article and now will state that St.Louis is in the top 10 for this like it is fact.
Makes my head hurt.
