Sun Country offers non stops to Minneapolis/St. Paul and DFW and AirTrans offers non stop to Milwaukee and Atlanta. Are you willing to drive there for a cheaper and/or non stop flight? Just curious; thanks

I am not a Springfield resident (yet), so I didn't vote. We plan to move to Springfield in 2010. For the past four years we have been driving from New Orleans to vacation in Springfield several times a year. It is a long drive and we usually end up having to spend the night in Jonesboro. It would be much faster and less tiring to fly.

The prices to fly from New Orleans to Branson seem quite a bit lower than the prices from New Orleans to Springfield. We wouldn't mind the drive to Springfield a bit, since we enjoy the scenery anyway. So, we may use the Branson airport.

Default Needs a third category

I didn't vote because I could answer "yes" to both. If they fly someplace I want to go and they are cheaper then yes. If they don't go in the general direction (West) of where I want to go, then I may use Springfield, or I may use Tulsa. One of them needs a cheap cheap flight to Tulsa where I can catch South West to points on the west coast. Right now most of my visitors fly into Tulsa and I go pick them up. They can generally save 2-3 hundred $$. One of these airports could make money offering inexpensive flights into Tulsa one would think.

I will fly out of whichever is cheaper: KC, Springfield or Branson. At this point Branson doesn't have any direct flights to where I go so I doubt I'll getting any great deals there. Springfield is closest to me but KC is always well over $100 cheaper.

I'll use it if they can provide more economical flights than Springfield. Atlanta & DFW are hubs for a lot of airlines but total cost is what most people look at and I'm no different.

My family lives in the Springfield area, and I live in Houston, TX. I would gladly use the Branson Airport if I could get a flight from Houston to Springfield without a 2 hour lay-over at DFW Int'l Airport. The last time I went to Missouri for a funeral, I had to fly from Houston Hobby to Tulsa Int'l and then rent a car the rest of the way. I could also fly Houston Hobby to DFW, wait 2 hours, and then fly DFW to Springfield-Branson National. C'mon Springfield & Branson, add Houston to your destinations!

If Branson has a cheaper rate for where I am visiting - Yes! If not, then Springfield or KC would be a better avenue for me to take!
