Staying on topic to the OP, the "Fish" subforum has under 10 posts for the entire month of August, golf would surely have more than that....

But, golf is spread over all the states. So it is a very vast subject. Although there needs to be an area to discus the game, the players, the incidents, and the gossip......( Oh, did I say that?)
Lots of stories behind the golf game for sure.
You'd have to really check with each state to find all the golf questions that have come about over the years......

Not a golf fan, but it's a popular sport for many. I think it should have its own sub forum.

Am I the only one who watched the PGA championship from 10am to 7pm two weeks ago? I took a break to use the restroom and that is it. I had food delivered to me. I could watch baseball and golf all day long.

No, I treat all the Majors like the Super Bowl, the Ryder Cup as well. The PGA was even more interesting because of the location - I enjoy seeing the world's best struggle just like we hackers do - and they did at Whistling Straits.

As for baseball, I rarely miss my fav MLB team play (Rays) - but can't watch much of the other teams until playoff time, then don't miss any of the action.

I root for the Rays, I enjoy watching them do well. You have to replace the Trop. that field is horrible. I saw a game there back in 05.
